You can use an additional rear defroster switch to control your driving
lights.
Get a spare switch, remove the defroster marking, flip it 180°, and it will
go into one of the unused switch positions on the left side of the switch
cluster.

If things work out I should be proud owner of a set of euro light
assemblies soon. These are the ones with driving lights (H4/H1 or
something like that). My question is how to switch the driving lights.
I notice there are several unused switch locations around the instrument
cluster bezel. Does anyone know if there are factory switches I might
find to put in these locations? My car is a '85 4kq, and the owners
manual describes these as "unused" locations. I thought maybe later
cars might have fog lights or something I could use a switch from. I
would prefer US market solutions, but curious to all options. I don't
mind fabrication, but I would like to maintain factory look.
Thanks
Eric
