I Havn't seen the Daniel Stern Harness. But judging by his level of knowledge, and the respect he's earned, I suspect you can't go wrong there. I used the SUV lights harness on an A6. I found it to be well made. It fit up nicely and gave a very clean look to the installation. And it works the nuts. HTH Steve
