Lost Fuel diaphram[?] vacum hose on a '86 100 Avant-RHD

Hi
There is a unit that sits to the left of the coil [lookingfrom the front] on
the fire wall that is to do with the fuel system. It has a wire connector on
the top and a vacuum hose attached to the bottom. The hose goes some where,
but where? Mine has fallen off and I can not find where to put it! Any help
will be most appreciated,
