That function makes some sense.  You can smash the window to get access, but you still
can't open the door without the key.  So, if you are gonna steal it, you'll getting in and out of
the car "Dukes of Hazzard" style.  Might attract some attention.

That it can be accidentally initiated is not-so-cool.
