Cancel request - too much paperwork involved on the return trip, no one
there to do it.
Anyone know a good, reliable, honest wrench in San Juan?

Here's a good one for the collective . . .
I need to determine if it is financially feasible to move a car from San
Jan Puerto Rico to Florida for repairs and then return it to San Juan.
Here's the deal - car is in San Juan, needs a lot of work. Great absence of
honest, competent mechanics there (or so I'm told), also parts are much
more expensive.
Theory is that perhaps the car can be fixed HERE in Florida better and for
less than in San Jaun, even including the round trip by boat.
First place I spoke to didn't realize Puerto Rico is part of the USA, told
me they couldn't import cars from overseas. Second place I spoke to
"guessed" $1,800 one way - and I *know* this is wrong . . .
Unless someone knows a good, reliable and honest mechanic in the area . .
. Chebbys ain't rocket science, the problem is the wrench-twirlers.
Best Regards,
Mike Arman
