Hey everyone
After working on it on and off for a month now, I took the turbo syncro out driving. I still don't have the pressure switch for the 6th injector or an air fuel ratio meter so I was pushing my luck but it was fun:) The thing has endless power, and I was keeping it under 5 psi with my foot. It detonated at about 6.5 psi at high rpm. It didn't knock at all at 5 psi. I attribute the knocking at 6.5 psi to still having regular 87 octane in the tank. Unfortunately my SAAB APC knock light that I wired up didn't come on (I heard the knock), so I'll have to look into that. The turbo whistle is LOUD (much louder than any 5kt gas turbo). It is seriously almost as loud as the big turbo diesel trucks which I really really like. It spools up very fast also. My pressure switch for the 6th injector has been ordered, and in a few days, I'll have enough fuel for 10 psi.
I would like to thank Javad for all his help, encouragement and for answering all my silly questions. I would also like to say HAHA to all those people that said it wouldn't work, especially the one that said that the pistons would sieze up in the bores because my block doesn't have oil squirters for the backsides of the pistons. LOL wtf?
