2 piece exhaust manifold???

So ummm, what cars was the 2 piece EM on? All the turbo manifolds I've seen are one piece. Where was the split made? Anyone have any pictures of one or drawings so I could see one?
I got a 5kt gas downpipe tonight, so I can replace the 2 inch turbo diesel one with a real 2.25 inch one for more high rpm power.
