Hatch Rattle Fix

I have a '91 CQ. 

I recetly ordered to updated pieces per the 20V site to make the Coupe's hatch
rattle go away (diminish?). 

What I am finding is that the Striker Plate (895 827 507) that goes in the
hatch has rubber-coated pods that do not fit into the groove of the black
plastic by the rear lights. 

Also, the latch by the rear lightsdoesnt have enough of a curvature to
accommodate the revised striker plate that is now rubber coated.

What's the fix for this? Obviously, there's another part that needs to be
replaced. Anyone have the extra part#s?

Insight would be highly appreciated.
