KF Airbag Recall

I noticed my '91 CQ's VIN is not within the VIN range identified by the KF
airbag recall.

Can the new air bag sensor module that replaces the power reserve unit and the
voltage transformer be used on my car?
 
Or should I just stick with the identical sensor module that I bought from the
junkyard?
