I'll add a couple of points to this:

I might have to agree that asking for a whole new car because the door is
scratched is probably asking a bit much ... however I might have asked them to
strip and re-paint the door, or something similar because painting it the wrong
color is just stupid.

Their official site is http://www.jimellis.com/ . Beware of the cheezy
background music (haven't seen *that* in several years).

My guess is that they wouldn't care, especially considering how few customers
(or potential customers) of theirs are on this list. I have no fond memories
of the Jim Ellis Audi service department; it took them 7 years to fix my air
conditioner problem (I still don't think it's right, but it does cool the air
at least). At the Audi service department, if you did not buy your Audi from
Jim Ellis you don't get a loaner. Plus you get to deal with Lee Wertz, a
condescending asshole who appears to know almost nothing about cars (but stands
between you and actual mechanics). If you absolutely have to deal with Jim
Ellis Audi service, ask for Kevin Connors; I don't know that he works in the
Audi department any more, but he is competent, polite, and actually drives an
Audi (I recall that he drives a red 4000 but I guess I could be wrong on that
one). He is also willing to believe that you actually have a problem and will
go the distance to try to find intermittant or hard-to-notice problems (unlike
Lee). Your other option is Stacy Ellis (perhaps Jim's daughter) who is nice
enough but not very helpful.
I'm going to refrain from ranting too much about them, lest I get sued as well,
but I will say that I can't recommend Jim Ellis as a competent garage. If
you're in that area, try Autobahn Performance or Deutchland Automotive; in
Marietta if you go down the cross-street that Jim Ellis Marietta is on there is
evidently a good garage at the end of the road (never been there).
