which is what I think is happening right now.. Just need to program that
out on my car. I thought I had everything set too rich but I guess
not! Best to go to far rich then back it off so its just right. I'll
have to play with it more tonight...

The turbo cars use piston oil squirters. As you know a lean mixture can
result in detonation which creates just about the hottest combustion
chamber temps you can get. These high temps are going to be directly
transferred to the oil very rapidly as the pistons will conduct the heat
pretty well (it is supposed to!).
That's my understanding of it anyway..
