that's the wierd part.. granted I haven't pushed the car to track-like
conditions yet but a few WOT blasts through the gears in a row hasn't
show oil temps that high. In fact.. when I get those high temps if I
wack the throttle and go faster for a little while the temps go DOWN!

yeah, that's what I would think..

no, no problems with detonation at WOT. runs really well at higher
throttle positions.
Question.. what are your settings for TPS % mixture at 0-100% throttle?
What about gain?
I've been making a lot of changes in the TPS cells but haven't messed
with the main MAP settings. most of the values are in the .8-1.0
range. I couldn't seem to get much change in my problem areas by
messing with the MAP values..

no, I'm not 100% sure.. but it sure seems to respond as expected for
every other running condition besides consistant 1/4 throttle..
