So,

if the build number (last six digits) from your VIN is
201030 or earlier it has the "447 611 021" brake master cylinder

and

if the build number from your VIN is 201031 or later it has the
"447 611 021 A" brake master cylinder.

Note, the 1989 200 quattro (10v) also used the same to reservoirs with the VIN
split shown as "44-J-300 000" and "44-K-000 001" for the change.
