ugh the alcohol soaked haze (and I'm a mech eng, so even less authority her=
e), was that it is harder to pass a spark through air as the pressure gets =
higher.
If your coil is weak, or gets too hot, it may be having problems sparking w=
hen boost is up (higher pressure).  I don't know what kind of coil you are =
running, or if it gets hot on the track, but that would be one of the place=
s I would look.  Coils will also have trouble sometimes if they get too hot=
, so having more problems on the hotter day tends to make me think that is =
possible.
  I don't see how a head gasket leak would cause something like that, unles=
s it is pretty big, at which point I'd think you would be seeing other prob=
lems first.

Are you running raceware studs or something similar, or standard head bolts=
? Just curious.
