There is a product called Power Bond that someone (maybe Steve Buchholz)
mentioned on an Audifans list that is a tape-like material that, I think,
is an epoxy activated by being stretched by about half (doubles its lenght)
that relatively quickly forms a watertite seal.  Stuff also supposedly
could be used as a temporary V-belt.  I found it at a FLAPS with the
Edelbrock logo.  It stopped two or three plumbing leaks I've used it for.
Haven't needed it on a car yet.
