Some time ago I got a few US-spec front turn signals for the 85-87
models. One of them had two contacts, the rest had one. What I quickly
found was that if you have a couple of spare bulb holders you can take
the contact out of the spare and install it in the free sot in the ones
going onto your car.
I also solved the corner light problem you Americans face when
installing the dual H4/H1 lights on your cars. The outer end of the
light has a chrome trim piece. I removed the chrome trim and modified a
corner light from some Japanese car to fit in the trim's place. Now I
have a corner light as well. Pics can be seen at
