Anyone here done a TDI-into A4Q conversion?

Karl is a Westy driver, I remember from my days on the Vanagon list that 
Karl was one of the pioneers in installing a modern VW diesel engine in 
his Westy. I cant remember if it was a 1.9 TD or TDI he installed though.
