**** I didnt price out a new switch assembly. I was thinking of cleaning
contacts. I drilled in two places and kept hitting metal . .like a casing. I
epoxied the holes.
I'll take out the throttle body on the 88 5k later this week, and clean
that. I'll check on prices for new switch assembly. If the price is
reasonable, I'll get one and use the 88 switch as a spare.

**** Yeppers, I'm an old electronic techie . . . .. zero ohms check is the
first thing I do.
Speaking of electronics . . .I'll start a thread on buying and using an
oscilloscope for troubleshooting our cars. They look pretty reasonable on
E-Bay.
