Hi my mommy :) has a 20 quattro coupe (too slow for me, heavy car for 160hp)
anywaya it has a huge problem the car is very thightwhen steering but within
evry 5 to 10 minutes the back end decides to steer/slip the back end of the
car sideways guessing only on drivers side tried it out a few times this
happens only for a few seconds but when it happens it feels like the two
wheels are unscrewing or slipping on ice (same feeling) table bushing are ok
tie rods good ball joint too... doing my test drive i found out that the
rear diff's mount is a little soft but still holds lifts around 3/4 inch
with a a 3 ft pry bar the two front ones are ok the sub frame bushings show
some craking but i dint see any traveling wear(evidence of movement).
Any suggetions experience with this problem? Could it be abs related? ie one
back tire braking while other pushes unlikely but im stomped.
Wheel bearings seem a little loose max 1/8 play but not to a great
extent...seen much much worse on vws :)car handles thight when given small
or agressive big turns.
