Need advice on Quattro purchase

Hi Everyone,

I=92ve been a Volvo turbo fan for the past few years, but RWD, turbo, and an
85 mile daily commute in Michigan winters are beginning to wear on me. I=92m
new to the list and I need some help buying my first Quattro.  The closest
thing I=92ve had to an Audi was a 93 Passat GLX 5sp- it was a blast to driv=
e,
but had a lot of electrical quirks and a stalling issue that no one could
seem to figure out.   Heres what I=92m looking for:
1=2E Quattro
2=2E Turbo- something I can fool around with as far as performance
improvements.
3=2E Something to make my commute more enjoyable- half of the drive is on
winding country roads, the other half on the highway.
4=2E Strong support group (you guys) in maintenance & repair.

I think a 200 is my best bet.  Are there major differences in upkeep costs
between the 10v and 20v?  Is the 10v easier to modify and maintain?  Has
anyone compiled a list of items to check when buying?
