Here is a quick guide.

Bilsteins: Bump stop internal.
There is a special tool.  Some use pipe wrenches link below shows special
tool.
Clunking should end when you can tighten to 140 ft lbs.

Did you replace the upper strut bearing?
That will clunk too.
