how is $400 for T-belt, lifters, valve cover, and water pump?

I will second what Huw said about making sure the timing belt is set right. It's incredible how much power my NG seems to make now that the timing is all straightened out. And to think, I never knew I was missing any power since it was that way since I bought the car. Now she seems to scream like a scalded cat and will actually pull above 5,000 RPM (still somewhat gutless above 5,500 but it's a lot better than before). Oh, and jsut as an update, I'm still not pinging and no more CELs).

If the $400 includes the parts, it's a good deal.

The, uh, what? Throttle position sensor? If your car still has no
power after the WP/TB change (ie, the timing belt is set right), I'd
check all the "usual suspects," ie, tune up items and such. switches,
connections, senders. Get the Bentley and save some money.
