CGT turbo linkage probelm solved!

Hello all,

I had been experiencing problems with my CGT's  shifter  lately. The
problem was that the bottom of the linkage kept coming disconnected from
the shift rod (the part with the rubber ball & socket fitting) every
time I shifted "too quickly". Real PITA to fix on the side of the road
over & over. Any CGT or FWD 4K owners probably know what I am talking
about.

Anyhow, my good friend Al took my shift rod, cut off the end with the
ball socket & threaded a metric heim link in instead. Then he drilled
out the ball on the linkage and bolted the heim rod to it.

Installed monday, and man what peace of mind! No more shifter coming
loose in my hand!

Had my brother take pics of the part, so when he sends them to me if
anyone wants to see it; respond offline and let me know.
