The specified replacement interval for my engine is 102K miles, twice
what the car had on it. Evidence of a long term oil leak in the t-belt
compartment that went unnoticed by the dealer despite regular maintenance
(including one 6 weeks ago in July) seems to be the cause of the failure.

We'll see....
