Fellow Listers;
Any tips/precautions/special tools needed for
the US right steering column switch (wiper/washer/trip computer)
removal and replacement? Trying to have everything on hand
before the job, which I'm trying to squeeze in before the
remnants of Isabelle overrun the place. Would be nice to
have fully functioning wipers by then. As an update,
I was able to test try a different wiper motor assy on
my car, and the symptoms are the same (only works in
the high position, with switch jiggling, no auto return, so
manual reset to the "rest" position) as before, so, I'm
now looking at the switch instead. If possible, tool
sizes (I'm guessing possibly a 4 mm allen?) or types
(torx?, do I have to pull the steering wheel?) or
other surprizes (rivets, or even worse, mastic?).
Thanks in Advance (TIA) for any help, you guys
are the best!
