idle troubles with 5KT

hi,
I am having troubles with the idle of my '87 5KT
I have checked several of the idle components, and replaced all the
usual tune-up pieces.
the car still will not idle consistently.
I did unplug the feed going to the ECU from the O2 sensor and the idle
improved somewhat.
the big question I have right now is when the car stalls,  it will not
restart for about 5 minutes (if it stalls during cold or hot
conditions).
once the car is running again, and shut down with the key, it will
restart
any ideas?
also, when it starts after sitting overnight, it cranks for quite a
substantial time (10 sec) and when it starts, it has a haze of blue
which goes away after about 5 seconds.  the oil level never drops.  I
replaced one injector due to it leaking with the system pressurized.  if
I restart the car within a few minutes of shutting it down, it fires up
on the first crank.  likewise, if it sits for a couple of days, it fires
immediately as well.
very frustrating and confusing
