PayPal Bashing - NAC

Hi All,

I've seen some bashing of PayPal in the list recently.  I've been using
PayPal since they started and I rank them just second to women in the "can't
live with them, can't live without them" category.  But there are no free
lunches.

It is a common practice in some establishments outside the US to add a
surcharge for credit card purchases.  This can be selective, e.g. American
Express only, or general.  Or they refuse to honor discounts if you pay by
credit card.  I'm constantly amazed when I present my ATM/Visa card and the
clerk asks "Do you want this to be a debit or a charge?"  If I want to screw
them, I say charge.

If you want to find some comfort in your PayPal misery, there is a web site
devoted to just that, but I couldn't easily locate the URL.  Mail me offline
