Actually, I would wager a large sum that it is a Datsun Z. Only because I h=
ave one in the garage and compared the photo to the '72 240Z! The door hand=
les are definitely not in the right place to be a Vette.

The Vette engine OTOH fits well in the Datsun, and I'll bet that some form =
of Chevrolet power gets those 9s. On Z sites we see things like this all th=
e time. One was advertised as a Cobra even though it had the Datsun windshi=
eld and an LT-1...
