91 Audi 100 in San Jose -- smells like a fish in the sun

Hi All,

In case any of you noticed the "1 owner 1991 Audi 100 for sale in San Jose",
I called and tried to talk to the owner. I WAS interested; after all, it's
a 10 year upgrade for me. The "one owner" didn't know of anything wrong
with the car. Hmmmh. I asked where he had it serviced. He had to check on
that, he didn't remember. When was the timing belt last changed? That's
when his call waiting activated and I hung up.

Picky? I don't expect a new car or even a car with nothing wrong with it.
But I do want to know what's wrong with it, where it's been, and who drove
it. Even if it's free. It's like adopting a child; you have to be
responsible for it and all its problems until you can unload it.

The guy obviously lied about being the one owner, one driver. He was also a
person that felt that lying to get over on someone is okay if it succeeds.
He'll unload it on some poor, unsuspecting soul who'll become an Audi hater.

To him and all like him -- gfy.

Cheers!

Jim Jordan
