Todays update:

When I got to the shop today I found the battery charger hooked up to the car, nobody had noticed that I didn't INSTALL my new ignition switch, I just swapped the wires and hung it under the dash for test purposes, everybody thought the battery was dead because no lights would come on with the key, lol. Buuuutt, I guess my battery was _slightly_ low (read 12.00 before) and now with the battery at 12.7v the car charges to 13.7v and never gets to the magic 12.6v mark except a really quick dip when the fan first turns on (high draw on DC motors when they are accelerating). Now I know its not fixed, but the car is driveable as is now. I want to do some minor tuning so I'm going to leave it be and drive for a half hour or so tonight, but I still plan to find what the real problem is. #1 to check on my list is if the crank sensors are recieving proper voltage, then check if they are outputting as they should. After that it's back to looking for bad wires everywhere I can look.
