1987 coupe GT

The ecu is under the right side of the dash. Just remove the top of the
glove box and look.

No you can not get codes.

Depending on the temperature it can be the cold start valve(that extra
injetor next to the TB).
You can remove it, attache to the top of a plastic bottle and see if it's
spraying.
