No Audi content - steering rack babble

I said about replacing the rack and carefully screwing tie rod ends on by
thread count (in my 280ZXT):

Har-de-har. Actually the D60A2 tires on that car have been on it since about
1993 and they're probably nearly Flintstone grade. However, they still have
about 30% tread left cuz I don't put much mileage on it - but I do autocross
it. Was lapping Second Creek Raceway in Denver in about 90 seconds last year
while I still had near-criminally crappy Monroe shocks in it. Wonder what it
would do now with the Tokicos?

Audi content: I'd love to try my wife's 90Q on that track....wodner if the
front disc pads would smoke as much as the ones on my ZX after six hot
laps??
