Well, unfortunately, the documentation on these cars always contains a 
few errors, and thi smight be one of them.

Just got off the phone with my local dealer parts guy, who agreed, yes, 
every once in a while the part number (or description) for something 
might actually be wrong.  His suggestion, is to tell your parts person 
the usual year, model, application info, *and* the serial number of the 
car, and also the part number and description issue that you have, and 
let them call Audi to see if they can make sure they get the correct part.
