Trying to track down rough running on my '91 100:
Replaced dist. cap & rotor. Helped a little, but still feels like its
missing something...
Checked spark plugs. Found platinum+4 plugs, cool. Except for #3,
which was standard cheapie plug - and wet with gas. (others looked
normal). Cleaned it, checked the gap (a little big, but should still be
OK). No abnormal wear. Put it back in and it still doesn't work right.
Bought a new platinum+4 plug, installed it, still no good! So that
leaves the wires, right? I don't have a multimeter right now, but
should be able to get my hands on one early this week to check
resistance on the #3 wire. This wireset is only 2-3 years old, but I
guess there's always the possibility they can get damaged.
Is there anything I'm missing here? The coil should be good since cyls
1,2,4, and 5 fire, right?
