schrick cam install

Car is 1990 90q, ng engine.
Just bought a schrick 272 of a fellow lister, due to arrive to me in 7-10
days. So, question is, 
How involved is it on the ng code engine, is it a inlet manifold off job? As
the manifold hooks over the top off the engine a bit. Is there anything that
I should consider replacing while in there? Ie tappets? This cam will be ok
with standard valve springs will it not? I intend to do a tb change at the
same time.
Is there any need for an adjustable sprocket?
And what sort of gains should I expect?
