fuel injector inserts

Huw,
Thanks for the suggestion.
They are quite inexpensive ($12 for both including the intermediate
seal)
I was not sure if mine are bad or not. I have had the injectors out
several times and they always seem to seat well. I have had trouble
with idling, but not lately, and I was not sure if a bad/broken injector
holder may impact the idle. Right now the idle roams abit, but never
below 750.
Could a bad seat cause a vacuum leak? I suspect yes.
I replaced all hoses, vacuum lines, valve cover gasket, and installed a
new style filler cap. With all this, the removing of the filler cap
only causes the idle to dip, and it takes about 10 seconds to kill the
engine

I'd plan on it, they may come out in rough shape. And they should be
fairly cheap.

I think so. I've seen so many different styles of plastic injector
housings that I can't remember what goes with whatengine, though.

See previous answer...
