**** The leak is right at the connector . . . . . metal perforated with
rust.
I got the old hose out an hour ago. More muscle power was needed.
You were right about the duct tape. I felt something give and the hose came
free.
I now have the hose out and the 12 ga wire attached to it. That wire is
going to be my snake.
I'll snake in the new hose from the bottom . . .with the banjo end leading.
Gonna use lots of silicone grease on the hose.
If I have problems, I'll see about loosening the gas tank holding bolts.
