Need BTDT info on replacing fuel line from tank to pressureregulator

There are only four nuts holding the tank in place--one at each corner.
There might be a fifth on the driver side front corner. Maybe you can get
to them and let the tank rest on top of the rear diffy/suspension parts and
that would give you the little bit of clearance you need. If you want to
lower the suspension further, you'll find a whole load of problems. If you
can see the plastic retainer, maybe you can cut the plastic strap. I don't
think it's really necessary. On my OEM tank, the plastic strap wasn't even
snugged down on the hoses. The strap was forming a circle maybe 2 inches
in diameter. Again, that retainer slides onto a button sticking up from
the tank. If you can push on it in various directions, you probably can
slide the retainer off the button and slip it down the hoses enough to open
it up further.

I had the feeling when I was installing my replacement tank with the hoses
attached that I could have snaked the hoses between the tank and the body.
But I didn't try it. Maybe if you just loosen the nuts at the four corners
of the tank you can gain the space you need.

Is your leak right at the fitting or farther up the hose?
