Accelerator Cables

Hey all-

Just a general question to the audi list:

Does anyone know if there's tools available to make cable ends? I'm 
thinking something like the accelerator cable - just a pull cable with a 
housing. But most of them have metal ends attached to the tip of the 
cable. I'm wondering if there's ways to attach similar ends to cables, 
or something like it.

Just thinking out loud here.
