ABS Module

Fortunately, I have found an acceptably-priced brake module for my '99
A6 Avant.  Thanks to Rod at the Parts Connection, he directed me to
Dad's Auto Dismantling in Sacramento, CA.  Their phone number is (916)
388-8350 if anyone needs it.  Apparently, they carry a number of Audi
parts.  I found a used ABS control module for $400 with a 6-month
warranty.  I thought that was a fair price and reasonable guarantee.  My
next question is, of course, can anyone tell me where to find the module
on my car?  Is this a difficult replacement?  My skill level is about a
3-4 on a scale of 1-10.  Thanks in advance for your help,
