Audifan rescue needed

Calling all members of the Audifan rescue league-I just received an 
email from Bob D'Amato; here is an excerpt.

Someone, anyone- please, we need a rescue.

Standard treatment- park about 6 old Audis in the driveway, change 
their t-belts and whatnot; the more disassembly the better.  Put some 
Maine forest rally footage on the TV, and if that stays down, try a 
little LeMans highlights.  Follow with a gradual introduction to 
odd-number-of-cylinders engine noises and Pikes Peak posters into the 
habitat.  If subject shows any signs of needing to watch NASCAR 
including such comments as "Did you see Dale Jr's crash?", rush to 
the ER immediately! (so on second thought, don't disassemble all of 
the 6 old audis in the driveway, leave one of them free just in case).

I recognized the first danger sign when he spent July 4th weekend 
with the family instead of at Lime Rock watching ALMS- but man, I had 
no idea it was this bad.  I should have spoken up sooner...
