type 44 mystery connector

Obviously, it might be unused.  But let's see, detective work... 1. the 
thing it connects to should also be purple.  2. since brown is ground, 
it is probably a simple sender or sensor.  3. in that location, one very 
likely suspect, that is not readily visible, is the coolant expansion 
tank level sender (it's on the bottom, usually).  4. on my 90Q that 
connector is marked with purple.

I'd say there's a good chance that's what it is...
