Ring-a-ding-ding -- we have a winner!
I just gotta say duh!, to me. I hadn't put the coolant expansion tank back
in yet and the brand new one was sitting in my basement forgotten. Now that
I'm reminded about it's existence, (and I really wanted to forget about it
since I'm thinking it was a pin leak in the tank, spraying coolant into the
fan motor that caused the fan to seize up) the mystery couldn't be more
obvious.
Thanks for the help Huw!
Tim
