What's the Beep?

It's always been low washer fluid on mine, but it could be anything in
the Autocheck system (if the bulbs are burnt out you'll get no visual
cue).  Soon after my Autocheck decided to emit a constant scream
(Chinese water torture has nothing on this!) until I'd shut off the car
and re-start.  Now I thank my lucky stars that the Autocheck has
apparently died completely, or at least it's been silent both auditory
and visual, but if it comes back I'll be searching the archives for the
way to disable it completely.

I've driven cars all my life without Autocheck, not sure why I need it
now.  Team Doorhandle apparently needed something to do, and so designed
the Autocheck LOL

The car has  decided to emit a single beep, every once in a while, for

no apparent reason.
You know, the same beep that you get with the red warning triangle
(only 
the warning beeps three times). Anyone else experienced this?
