Yeah, I thought it was only a case of matching the inlet? Leave the exhaust
alone, is that correct?

Don't.  You will lose the toroidal vortex that scavenges the cylinders.

(Why does no one realise that the ports are _deliberately_ mis-matched?
Think Audi can't
measure?)
