Just as an aside,  I eventually replaced both feed and return lines with
generic nylon ones (CAN$50 for 30 feet including the compression ring
fittings).  Never rusted again ;-) and they are the exact inner/outer
diameter of the OE ones, so they fit the rubber hangers.  Frankly I don't
know why Audi does not use them in the first place.  The ones on my Golf are
nylon from factory.
