Help! Rotor shifted, can't replace wheel.

Thanks to all who responded, the wheel in question was the driver's rear. The reason I couldn't get them aligned turned to be because I had the handbrake on, and when I lowered it onto the jackstand the axle rotated while the rotor stayed put. Of course while trying to do all this in the freezing rain, it wasn't so obvious. D'oh!
