First, I'd like to thank all who responded. Here's what some of you had to
say (many of the replies were off-list):]

I'll give you another.  The coupe quattros are definately beautiful cars, and maybe even a bit utilitarian for a coupe, but the performance is abysmal.  I loved mine when I had it and thought it was hot stuff, until I found out what a turbo avant could to.   Compared to the 5000 turbo avant, it is a pig with lipstick.  Shame Audi didn't put the 20V turbo motor or V8 into this car, but some others are getting them and doing just that.
