I have found the palstic ones work just fine although many would beg to differ. You can always replace with a more expensive unit later once you have the plumbing in place.

You definately want bypass rather than blowoff. the bypass when installed correctly has the added advantage of keeping the turbo spooled up between shifts.

Well, I bought a singlepass intercooler and of course it has a bipass valve.
and that valve has a signal tube/line with a tee.....
Which line do I splice into....
1. the wastegate signal line (to solenoid)
2. the ecu to solenoid

can't seem to get the vendor to return an email.... hoping someone else
knows

also, the bipass valve is plastic. Well, how durable is it and how long to
the plastic ones usually last?
Does anyone know of metal ones? I'm not looking for a blowoff valve as i
will loose unmetered air.
Just thought I'd ask!
Thanks!!!
