97A6Q wont give me the key

Hello all,

  My audi has started to refuse to give me my key back. I Have tried wiggling and juggling the steering but it doesn't want to give me back the key all the time. I usually have to repark the car upto 5-6 times before it gives me the key back. Any Ideas to what the problem may be? What would it take to fix the problem other than a new car?
